An exciting opportunity for a property lawyer to join its growing team. With 2-6pqe and commercial property and/or secured lending experience, you will manage your own caseload across commercial property and secured lending, to deliver an outstanding service to a diverse and loyal client base that includes institutional lenders, property investors, and developers.
Key responsibilities:- Managing a varied caseload of commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and lease transactions
- Advising both lenders and borrowers on secured lending matters including bridging finance, buy-to-let, and development finance
- Conducting due diligence on investment property and portfolio transactions
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, legal charges, and other security documentation
- Handling landlord and tenant work including lease renewals, licences, and lease restructuring
- Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's other offices
Ideally you will have:
- Experience acting for both lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills
- Familiarity with Leap case management software highly desirable
- Residential property experience beneficial but not essential
