The long established London office of a US law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with 4-5pqe to join the firm's internationally recognised litigation team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work on complex, high-value disputes across diverse industries.
You will contribute to every stage of litigation, including:
- Pre-action work such as injunctions of all types and mediation
- Preparing pleadings and applications/hearings
- Client and party communications
- Disclosure processes
- Conducting in-depth legal research
- Taking witness and expert statements
- Supporting trial preparation and overall case strategy
- Handling complex arbitrations
Experience with disputes involving copyright, data protection, defamation, privacy and breach of confidence is preferred.
About you:
- Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- A strong academic background with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- 4-5pqe in handling complex commercial litigation before courts, arbitration panels and tribunals
- Experience handling injunctions and mediations
- Experience acting for both claimants and defendants
