This firm's Motor team is a market leader in this field offering a full service with dedicated teams dealing with fast track, multi track, fraud, credit hire, indemnity issues and representation at inquests and criminal prosecutions.
We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal, initially to assist but thereafter manage a caseload of credit hire cases.

- Dependant on role Main duties and responsibilities
- Manage caseload effectively and efficiently
- Initially review liability and quantum Claimant Solicitor conduct before devising a strategy for continued handling;
- Handle cases to conclusion including instructing investigators, posing Part 35 questions, instructing Counsel and making Part 36 offers;
- Complete client and firm MI procedures
- Comply with client SLAs, e-manual and local claims handling requirements
- Achieve set chargeable hours and financial targets
- Comply with Data Protection Procedures

As a Paralegal you will also ensure that you comply with the relevant client policies and procedures, and consistently work in accordance with our values.
About You
You will have previous experience as a Paralegal and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work.
As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks.
We also require you to have
- Experience of handling/assisting a case load of litigated motor files, preferably as a Defendant
- Credit hire experience
- Knowledge of CPR
- Ability to work to meet deadlines and hit targets
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
