An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a top-tier national law firm at its Leeds office.
The position focuses on Fast Track RTA matters within the OIC portal and is ideal for a driven paralegal who enjoys a fast-paced workload and is keen to advance their career within a leading personal injury team.
The Role
You will be responsible for your own caseload of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) files, managing claims through every stage of the Official Injury Claim (OIC) portal.
The role calls for strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a dedication to providing first-class client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a full caseload of Fast Track RTA claims within the OIC portal
- Delivering clear, practical legal advice to clients throughout their claim
- Communicating with insurers, medical experts, and other parties to ensure efficient progress
- Identifying when litigation is necessary and preparing files accordingly
- Maintaining compliance with internal processes, procedures, and service standards
About You
- Proven experience managing or assisting with Fast Track RTA matters (OIC/Portal experience essential)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with a proactive approach to workload management
- Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Good working knowledge of the RTA claims process, from pre-litigation through to litigation
