An established and well-regarded law firm with multiple offices across the region is looking to appoint a Family & Childcare Solicitor (1–5 PQE) to join its growing Leeds-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in public children work to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
You will manage a varied caseload of childcare and public law matters, including Care Proceedings, working closely with clients through sensitive and often complex situations. You will be joining a highly experienced team known for its collaborative approach, quality legal work and strong reputation within family law.
The firm places a real emphasis on professional development and employee wellbeing, offering ongoing training, clear progression routes and flexible working arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.
This role would suit a solicitor with between 1 and 5 years' PQE who has solid experience in childcare law and a genuine passion for representing children, parents and families in public law proceedings. Advocacy experience and familiarity with Legal Aid matters would be beneficial, although support will be provided for continued development.
