Conveyancing Assistant – Leeds

About the Role

Working closely with a Senior Fee Earner, you will provide hands-on support across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.

This position is well-suited to someone with at least six months of experience in a similar role who is ready to take on greater responsibility and continue developing their expertise within a forward-thinking firm.

  • A minimum of six months' experience in a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Support role
  • Familiarity with residential property transactions, including sales and purchases
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail

Please note applications without relevant conveyancing experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening new client files and maintaining accurate data within the case management system
  • Drafting standard legal documents and preparing client correspondence
  • Assisting with issuing contracts and responding to enquiries
  • Ordering property searches and supporting matters through to exchange
  • Preparing files for completion, including issuing mortgage reports and final documentation
  • Ensuring all case files are consistently updated in line with internal procedures
