Key Responsibilities of the Director of Legal and MO:
- Leading the legal, democratic, data protection and complaints teams
- Taking on the statutory Monitoring Officer duties
- Sitting within the senior leadership team for the authority
- Hybrid working with at least one day per week in office
Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Director of Legal and MO:
- Looking for someone senior and strategic
- Previous experience as Director or MO
- Previous experience working in the public sector and specifically local authority
