Senior Commercial Counsel - Multinational UK business- Oxford (Hybrid) Our client is multinational private company with a turnover exceeding £400m. They are growing rapidly both organically and through acquisition. To assist they are looking for a dynamic senior commercial lawyer with 8-10 years’ experience inhouse and/ or in prestigious private practice firms, preferably within the real estate sector, to join the dedicated team in Oxford, UK. You will be confident in your knowledge of legal matters including commercial and real estate property law, treasury, transfer pricing and electricity distribution. You will have relevant experience in M&A, corporate, property, construction, sales and purchasing commercial contracts, IP, IT, data security and litigation. As Senior Commercial Counsel, you will report to the Head of Legal and be an active business partner and trusted adviser to the businesses and Group functions. Confidence to work with colleagues at a number of different levels of the various businesses is key. You will be a problem solving and solutions oriented senior legal professional. As a senior member of the in-house team you will be able to deal with multiple legal matters at once and ensure advice is given in a timely and cost-effective manner, managing external counsel when necessary. You will be keen to work within a collaborative fast-moving technical environment and to take on this senior business facing role. A hybrid working model( 2 days a week in the Oxford office), working 37 hours a week they offer an excellent work life balance and superb quality work!
