An established and well-regarded law firm in High Wycombe is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy and supportive Residential and Commercial Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal, legal assistant, law graduate, or aspiring conveyancer who is looking to develop a long-term career in property law.
You will work closely with experienced fee earners on a varied caseload, gaining exposure to both residential and commercial conveyancing matters while benefiting from ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Your New RoleYou will provide essential support to fee earners across a broad range of property transactions, helping to ensure files progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.
Your new responsibilities- Supporting solicitors and conveyancers with residential and commercial property transactions
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence, contracts and completion packs
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and third parties
- Conducting property searches and assisting with due diligence
- Managing client communications and updating stakeholders throughout transactions
- Assisting with exchange, completion and post-completion matters
- Submitting Land Registry applications and SDLT documentation
- Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Previous experience within a conveyancing, property law, legal assistant, or paralegal role preferred
- Law graduates seeking a career in conveyancing are encouraged to apply
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple files and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent communication and client care skills
