The role
As a Corporate Tax Solicitor, you'll advise clients and colleagues on the tax implications of a wide range of business and property transactions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on the tax structuring of corporate transactions and reorganisations
- Supporting business sales, acquisitions and investment projects
- Advising on LBTT, SDLT, VAT and other transaction-related tax issues
- Assisting with employee share schemes and employment tax matters
- Drafting and reviewing tax-related documentation
- Supporting clients across a variety of sectors and industries
- Contributing to client training, seminars and legal updates
About you
This role would suit a Solicitor who:
- Has 2+ years' PQE in corporate, commercial, tax or transactional work
- Has an interest in developing specialist tax expertise
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Is comfortable managing a varied workload
- Communicates clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues
- Takes a commercial and practical approach to problem-solving
- Enjoys building relationships and contributing to business development activities
