My client, a well-established, multi-service law firm with a strong regional reputation is seeking to recruit an experienced Child Care Solicitor to join its expanding Family and Care team. The firm is known for combining legal excellence with a genuinely compassionate, client-first approach. You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload of child care matters, including both publicly funded and private cases. The role offers high-quality work, autonomy and the chance to play a meaningful role in shaping outcomes for children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a full caseload of public law child care matters
- Representing clients at court hearings, case conferences and key meetings
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members
- Building strong professional relationships with local authorities, guardians and other stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including accurate time recording and billing
