A Legal 500 and award-winning multi-service law firm in Watford is seeking an experienced and dedicated Conveyancer to join its friendly and professional team. Known for delivering exceptional client care and high-quality legal services, the firm offers a supportive, collaborative working environment where your expertise will be valued. The Role You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to post-completion, ensuring all transactions are handled with efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction. While residential experience is essential, commercial conveyancing experience would be an advantage (but is not required). Key Responsibilities Manage a full range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, equity release, right to buy, and new build transactions. Conduct due diligence and money laundering checks. Ensure compliance with CQS standards, SRA regulations, and internal protocols. Draft and review legal documentation, including contracts and Land Registry/title documents. Maintain excellent client relationships and deliver a high standard of service. Work collaboratively across the firm to generate referrals and contribute to business growth. Support junior colleagues where appropriate. About You Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX professional. Minimum of 3 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing. Strong technical knowledge and ability to handle a full caseload independently. Thorough understanding of Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors Account Rules.
