Sellick Partnership are working with a Local Authority seeking an experienced Property Senior Legal Officer / Senior Paralegal with considerable Right to Buy experience.

This role will be offered on an initial 6-month basis, with a strong likelihood of extension.

The purpose of the role is to

  • Progress allocated Right to Buy cases in accordance with all the relevant legislative and procedural requirements in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Open files, prepare letters and emails to clients and keep the client regularly informed.
  • Draft Lease or Transfer docuemnts and send out Legal Packs.
  • Deal with ongoing queries related to active RTB cases.
  • Prepare and carry out completions.
  • Post completion work.
  • Deeds of postponement.
  • Right of first refusal.

The client is ideally looking for someone with experience of working within a local authority setting, but experience in all of the above areas from a private sector background may also be considered.

The successful candidate must have obtained a law degree or equivalent qualification.
