An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Adults Social Care Lawyer to join a large, well-respected public sector organisation based in the West Midlands on a locum basis. The role is offered for an initial 6 month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. Fully remote working is available, with flexible start timescales.

The Role:

  • You will manage a varied adults social care caseload, including:
    • Court of Protection applications
    • Deprivation of Liberty (DoLS) matters
    • Providing legal advice on adult social care and mental health law
    • Supporting the authority with statutory duties and complex cases

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor / Barrister / Legal Executive (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in Adults Social Care law
  • Local authority or public sector experience preferred
