About Pendrich: Part of the Building Access Specialist Divisions (BAS), Pendrich Height Services Ltd, part of the PTSG Group, is a leading provider in specialised steeplejack and maintenance services across the UK. We repair and maintain tall structures such as industrial chimneys, towers, high‑rise blocks, monuments, and bridges, offering expert solutions in structure assessments, repairs, and maintenance for high‑rise and complex buildings.
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager who will be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of all site operations associated with external fabric repair and refurbishment works. The role involves managing labour, subcontractors, materials, programme delivery, health and safety compliance, quality control and stakeholder engagement to ensure the project is completed to the required standards, within budget and on programme.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and site logistics to maintain programme delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM 2015 and approved RAMS, carrying out inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections.
- Monitor quality standards, manage defects and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact on site, building strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
Proven experience delivering refurbishment, restoration or external fabric repair projects, with strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills. Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
