Pendrich Height Services Ltd is part of the BAS division within the PTSG Group and provides specialist steeplejack and high-level maintenance services across the UK. We work on a wide range of structures including industrial chimneys, towers, high-rise buildings, monuments and bridges, delivering safe and reliable solutions for inspection, repair and maintenance.

The Role

We are looking to recruit experienced IRATA Rope Access Technicians (Levels 1–3) to join our building maintenance team in Edinburgh. This role involves carrying out a range of high-level maintenance works using rope access techniques, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out building maintenance works at height using IRATA rope access methods
  • Undertake inspections and maintenance of building exteriors, including cleaning, painting, fabric repairs, glazing and mastic works
  • Inspect and maintain rope access equipment, reporting any defects
  • Ensure all equipment is certified and fit for use
  • Complete site assessments and follow safe systems of work
  • Work closely with colleagues to complete jobs efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of works completed and safety checks
  • Communicate professionally with clients and site contacts

Requirements

  • Valid IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 certification
  • 2–3 years’ experience in rope access and building maintenance
  • Good understanding of health & safety and working at height
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in demanding environments
  • Experience in general maintenance disciplines
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
