Pendrich Height Services is part of the Building Access Specialist Division within the PTSG Group, delivering specialist structural engineering and maintenance services across the UK. We work across complex and high-level environments, including rope access and steeplejack projects, providing expert solutions in inspection, repair, and maintenance. Our focus is on safe delivery, quality, and doing the job properly.
We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of our specialist projects across the UK. Working across rope access and steeplejack works, you’ll play a key role in managing costs, improving financial performance, and supporting projects from tender through to final account. You’ll work closely with Contracts Managers, operational teams, and clients to make sure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the right standard.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Managing project costs from initial pricing through to final account
- Preparing estimates, budgets, and financial reports
- Supporting tender submissions and reviewing subcontractor quotations
- Attending site visits where required
- Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams
- Identifying commercial risks and supporting with practical solutions
- Ensuring projects remain financially on track throughout delivery
Job Requirements
- Experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Background in construction, infrastructure, or specialist services
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contracts
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders across projects
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- RICS or similar qualification would be beneficial but not essential
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership
