About Us
Reachdesk is the first truly end-to-end global Saa S gifting and swag platform, helping B2B companies create meaningful connections with prospects, customers, and employees, while driving measurable ROI.
We believe gifting is more than just a transaction: it’s about building genuine human connections that fuel business growth.
Whether you’re engaging prospects, celebrating customers, or recognizing employees, our platform makes it easy to deliver personalized gifts, branded swag, and unforgettable event & brand experiences at scale through automated sourcing, storage, and global delivery.
We’re growing, and we’re currently looking for a Head of Business Systems & Security to join us.
The Role
As Head of Business Systems & Security you will own the platforms Reachdesk runs on, the security programme our customers rely on, and the IT that keeps the company working.
That covers Net Suite, Salesforce, Workato and Deal Hub among others, the integration layer and data definitions beneath them, SOC 2 and access control, and the full device and application estate across our UK, US and Portugal teams.
It is a broad, senior remit with real autonomy: you will decide how we use our systems, not simply keep them running.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a systems function rather than inherit one.
You will set the architecture, governance and roadmap, lead a small team of engineers alongside specialist delivery partners, and work directly with the executive team and with every part of the business that runs on these systems.
Beyond the estate itself, you will carry a standing mandate to find the manual work across the business, automate it, and make every other team measurably faster.
This department is also our AI enabler: you will decide how Reachdesk adopts AI, and make it part of how people actually work rather than something they experiment with.
Responsibilities
- Own the business systems estate end to end: Net Suite, Salesforce, Workato and Deal Hub among them, the integrations that connect them, and the data governance underneath.
- Set the architecture, operating model and roadmap for how Reachdesk uses its systems.
- Own the SOC 2 Type II programme, the security policy set and the risk register as the accountable business owner.
- Own identity and access management, joiner, mover and leaver processes, and the device and endpoint estate across three countries.
- Lead customer security assurance, from questionnaires and RFPs through to enterprise due diligence.
- Own the tech stack and application estate, including licence and spend decisions, consolidation and renewals.
- Own how Reachdesk adopts AI: the tools we invest in, the workflows we rebuild around them, and the training that keeps people using them well.
- Run our AI governance framework, covering acceptable use, data handling and the controls our customers and auditors expect.
- Take a standing remit to go into other teams’ processes, automate what should not be manual, and publish the impact.
- Lead and grow a small team of systems engineers, and manage specialist delivery partners including our Salesforce implementation partner.
About You
- 5+ years in business systems, IT or Biz Tech leadership within B2B Saa S, including at least 3 years leading a function or team, ideally in a PE-backed environment.
- Deep, hands-on ownership of an enterprise CRM, ERP and the integration layer between them. We run Salesforce, Net Suite and Workato; equivalent platforms translate.
- Accountable ownership of a SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 programme, rather than supplying evidence into someone else’s.
- Identity and access, SSO and device estate ownership at a hundred-plus headcount across multiple countries.
- Still hands-on in the systems themselves, and able to walk through what you have configured, built or designed in detail rather than at a summary level.
- Genuinely strong with AI: you use it daily in your own work, you can tell a real use case from a demo, and you have put it into workflows other people depend on.
- The technical judgment to say whether an approach is the right one, and the confidence to tell a senior stakeholder when the process is the problem rather than the tooling.
- Able to translate technical trade-offs into commercial impact for any audience, from the executive team to the people who use the systems every day.
- Pragmatic about buying versus building, unsentimental about tools, and drawn to a broad remit with a small team rather than the reverse.
- The Benefits
- Competitive salary with generous stock options
- Pension with employer contributions (NEST)
- Affordable Private Medical Insurance, including mental health support and fast access to care
- Flexible PTO that increases the longer you’re with us, plus extra flexibility for life’s unexpected moments
- A genuinely collaborative culture with innovative, fun, and ambitious people
