We are looking for an outstanding and highly motivated individual to lead our extended school provision as the Wrap Around Care Manager. You will provide guidance and lead the extended provision team, ensure the team work closely with the children, maintain their safety, engage with them in play and conversation, set up activities, meet and greet parents, and provide feedback on their child's time at the club.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the extended provision team and ensure high standards of safety and care.
  • Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities suitable for the age and needs of the children.
  • Engage with children through play and conversation and monitor their engagement and well-being.
  • Coordinate with parents by meeting them and providing feedback on their child's time at the club.
  • Ensure administrative duties are carried out in line with the provision's procedures.
  • Work with colleagues to create an inclusive environment that supports children with SEN needs.
  • Model and promote high-quality behaviour management and safeguarding practices.
  • Communicate professionally with a range of stakeholders and build effective relationships with students, parents and staff.
  • Demonstrate initiative and willingness to undertake guidance and direction as required.

Requirements and Qualifications (illustrative and desirable):

  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate staff.
  • Understanding of child development and learning.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to develop a planned programme of activities for different ages and needs.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and a current food hygiene certificate (desirable).
  • Paediatric first aid qualification (desirable).
  • Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures.
