Bring stories to life – join us as a Videographer! We’re looking for a creative, driven Videographer who can capture compelling stories both in the field and the studio, to clearly document stories across all AV output.
This role is home & hub linked to our East Midlands hub, so you must be able to work from our offices in Nottingham.
You will be covering a Sunday – Saturday rota between 6am – 11pm, so flexibility is key.

About this role
You’ll shoot, edit, and craft engaging video content for multiple platforms, from breaking news to original features; shaping stories through visuals, sound, and style.
As a key part of our video team, you’ll collaborate with producers and journalists, use AI tools to boost creativity and efficiency, and lead the way on complex filming and editing challenges. You’ll also help optimise content across platforms, create affiliate videos that drive engagement and revenue, and ensure every piece meets the highest editorial and legal standards.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same – expect to travel, work to a rota, and play a vital part in delivering impactful storytelling that reflects the diverse communities we serve.
What you\’ll need to succeed
As a skilled Videographer, you’ll have a proven track record in creating high-quality, engaging video content across studio and field environments. You’ll be highly proficient in shooting on DSLR cameras, editing with Adobe Suite (or equivalent), and shaping original content to meet AV KPIs. Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently or collaboratively. Newsroom experience and media law knowledge are desirable. Adaptability and professionalism are key in this fast-paced role and candidates should be able to demonstrate work that drives online engagement.
