We are seeking an Acting Fashion, Beauty & Shopping Lead to support the Head of Lifestyle in generating, planning, filming and writing shoppable content across print and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, forward‐plan, write and desk‐edit daily beauty and wellness content across print, digital and video media.
  • Collaborate with the Editor‐in‐Chief, Deputy Editors, Multimedia, Art and Reach Studio to create engaging features, optimise headlines for SEO and social media.
  • Conduct high‐profile celebrity interviews and cover for the Head of Lifestyle as required.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and new product launches; propose innovative beauty features.
  • Represent the title at key industry events and act as brand ambassador.
  • Manage, support and coach a small team of Lifestyle Content Creators, enhancing their development.
  • Work flexible schedule, including one weekend shift per month.

Qualifications

  • Senior experience in a beauty, fashion or shopping journalism role with a proven record in both digital and print.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills with clear digital‐friendly headlines.
  • Strong planning and organisation to meet tight daily and weekly deadlines.
  • Commercial mindset with ability to demonstrate commercial experience alongside editorial talent.
  • Proficient in digital workflows and CMS; confident on camera with a portfolio of video content.
  • Leadership experience with successful guidance of a content team.
