What The Role Involves

  • The post holder will have a key role in the press calibration and EAM press maintenance program whilst maintaining safe working practices and compliance with H&S policies and procedures.
  • Management of calibration schedule to OEM standard.
  • Service of rotoclean automatic blanket wash equipment.
  • Service of automatic plate lifter equipment.
  • Service, repair and install NC/Forme block equipment.
  • Address and resolve production failures to rotoclean, roller and plate lifter equipment.
  • Complete all Press Preventative maintenance as per EAM PPM schedule.
  • Ensure all pressroom handover and EAM system are updated.
  • Stand in for Supervisor as and when required.
  • Assist with clean ups and general housekeeping duties.
  • Complete administration and reporting associated with EAM maintenance and calibration logs.
  • Support press make ready operations as and when required.
  • Any other additional duties as requested by the Pressroom Manager or other Supervisor roles.
  • Ensure company obligations within health and safety and environmental law and group/site policy is maintained at all times.

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • Engineering qualifications desirable.
  • Lifting and slinging operations (Training provided).
  • Drive and commitment with an ability to work shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal/written/practical.
  • Team player with the ability to lead a team.
  • A good awareness of HSE standards and regulations.
  • Be attentive to detail and focused on quality.
  • Computer literate.
  • An understanding of manufacturing best practice and lean principles and tools.
