What The Role Involves
- The post holder will have a key role in the press calibration and EAM press maintenance program whilst maintaining safe working practices and compliance with H&S policies and procedures.
- Management of calibration schedule to OEM standard.
- Service of rotoclean automatic blanket wash equipment.
- Service of automatic plate lifter equipment.
- Service, repair and install NC/Forme block equipment.
- Address and resolve production failures to rotoclean, roller and plate lifter equipment.
- Complete all Press Preventative maintenance as per EAM PPM schedule.
- Ensure all pressroom handover and EAM system are updated.
- Stand in for Supervisor as and when required.
- Assist with clean ups and general housekeeping duties.
- Complete administration and reporting associated with EAM maintenance and calibration logs.
- Support press make ready operations as and when required.
- Any other additional duties as requested by the Pressroom Manager or other Supervisor roles.
- Ensure company obligations within health and safety and environmental law and group/site policy is maintained at all times.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Engineering qualifications desirable.
- Lifting and slinging operations (Training provided).
- Drive and commitment with an ability to work shifts.
- Excellent communication skills verbal/written/practical.
- Team player with the ability to lead a team.
- A good awareness of HSE standards and regulations.
- Be attentive to detail and focused on quality.
- Computer literate.
- An understanding of manufacturing best practice and lean principles and tools.
