Role: Experienced OR Trainee FGAS Assessor

Location: London

We are currently recruiting for one of our leading clients in London who has an established learning facility in both Luton and Sittingbourne. Due to continued successes of the business and further people entering the space of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, they are looking for either a trainee or experienced FGAS Assessor.

As a trainee, you will have experience in both air conditioning and refrigeration (at least five years) within the industry. You will also have proven experience and knowledge on the service, maintenance, breakdowns, and either have experience coaching and developing new talent or have a strong interest in doing so.

As an experienced Assessor, you will have previous experience in a similar role and hold a current FGAS Certificate as well as Commercial RAC experience and qualifications, along with previous experience working on the tools.

With this role you will be:

  • Working alongside new entrants into the industry sharing your knowledge and wisdom
  • Getting them up to speed on systems and processes
  • Answering questions and supporting new entrants into the industry
  • Ensuring the highest level of communication at all times
  • Delivering outstanding knowledge and feedback to learners
  • Offering careers advice
  • Noticing and aligning new topics through changes in regulation
  • Conducting examinations and assessments whilst also creating and demonstrating problems likely to happen on sites
  • Developing and planning new course operations
  • Helping and developing online material

As this is a learning and development role for future talent, the ideal person will come from the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning industry and have knowledge of systems and processes.

Please note: You will need to pass an enhanced DBS check for this role.
