About Re-Volt Charging

Re-Volt Charging is an EV charging station reseller on a mission to democratize access to EV infrastructure. We specialize in deploying Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations across multifamily housing, gateway cities, and underserved communities—bridging the clean energy gap where it’s needed most.

Role Overview

Re-Volt Charging is hiring a Business Development Manager to lead outreach, relationship building, and deal closure for new EV charging stations. This role is focused on identifying and securing high-impact locations across multifamily housing, commercial real estate, and retail. The role may also contribute to government and public-sector opportunities in coordination with Re-Volt’s leadership team. It’s ideal for a self-starter who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to play a key role in expanding sustainable transportation infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

Site & Partnership Development

  • Identify high-traffic, high-impact locations for EV charging deployment (multifamily, commercial, retail, hospitality, etc.)
  • Utilize GIS tools, EV adoption trends, and utility funding programs to prioritize site outreach
  • Conduct outbound lead generation and build a prospect pipeline via networking, cold outreach, inbound inquiries, and partnerships

Relationship Building & Sales Execution

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with property owners, real estate developers, municipalities, and fleet operators
  • Pitch Re-Volt’s EV charging solutions and partnership models through presentations and site host engagements
  • Negotiate long-term agreements with site hosts for EV charging station deployment, including service terms and incentive-aligned partnership models
  • Integrate available utility rebates and local/state incentive programs into proposals to strengthen deal economics
  • Support public-sector engagement as needed, in coordination with internal stakeholders, with a focus on local opportunities rather than federal programs like NEVI

CRM & Reporting

  • Track all business development activities using CRM tools (HubSpot)
  • Provide regular sales reporting, track KPIs, and optimize deal flow based on market feedback
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and grant teams to ensure proposal accuracy and fulfillment

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3–5+ years of direct experience in the EV charging industry, with a strong track record in business development, sales, or real estate partnerships.
  • 3+ years of experience in site acquisition, energy rebate programs, or municipal permitting.
  • Clear communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Organized, driven, and comfortable working independently in a commission-only role.
  • Proficient in HubSpot for sales tracking and reporting and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling.
  • Based in Massachusetts and familiar with the New England EV landscape, including local regulations and permitting processes.
  • Willing to attend industry events, site visits, and stakeholder meetings (occasional travel required).

Compensation:

  • Commission-only with high earning potential.
  • Performance will be evaluated after 3–6 months; base salary may be considered based on achieving milestones and pipeline development.

Equity Potential:

  • Top-performing candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to Re-Volt’s long-term success will be eligible for equity consideration.

Additional Benefits:

  • Purpose-Driven Mission: Join a team that is passionate about expanding access to clean energy and creating a positive impact in underserved communities.
  • Professional Development: Gain valuable experience in the rapidly growing EV charging industry.
