The SEO Analyst is a key delivery role within Re:signal’s Organic Search delivery team. SEO Analysts are responsible for executing high-quality Organic Search deliverables across client accounts, working within the strategies and roadmaps set by SEO strategists. They contribute directly to the client outcomes by delivering technical analysis, content optimisation and data-driven insights.
As part of a delivery pod, SEO Analysts work closely with the lead SEO Strategists, Project Managers and other team members in their pod to ensure deliverables are completed to a high standard and delivered within agreed timelines. This role is hands‑on and suits individuals who enjoy solving problems, analysing search performance and implementing improvements that directly impact organic revenue and visibility for our clients. SEO Analysts are expected to continuously develop their SEO expertise, gaining exposure to complex SEO challenges across a variety of industries while building the foundations to progress into more strategic roles within Re:signal.
Key responsibilities
- Delivery contribution
SEO Analysts are primarily responsible for delivering Organic Search deliverables within the scope of client strategies and roadmaps. Typical delivery includes:
- Executing SEO deliverables based on briefs and SOPs from SEO Strategists
- Conducting technical analysis and identifying SEO issues
- Supporting the creation and implementation of on‑page optimisation plans
- Implementing changes directly within client CMS platforms where appropriate
- Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis
- Supporting technical SEO audits and specific issue investigations
- Contributing to internal linking and site architecture optimisation
- Assisting with international SEO implementations
Data analysis and reporting
- Analysing SERPs and identifying organic search opportunities
- Pulling and preparing performance data from analytics platforms
- Supporting monthly reporting and KPI tracking
- Investigating traffic fluctuations and performance anomalies
- Conducting search demand analysis to inform optimisation opportunities
Collaboration and delivery support
- Working within the priorities set by Strategists and delivery roadmaps
- Updating task and project progress within delivery management tools
- Communicating blockers and risks early
- Contributing insights and findings to the wider delivery team
- Supporting team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Learning and development
We expect all delivery team members to stay up to date with the rapidly evolving landscape of Organic Search. Successful candidates do the following:
- Stay up to date with industry developments, specifically in eCommerce
- Expand their knowledge to cover gaps, this may be in technical, content or data analysis
- Contribute to internal learning sessions and knowledge sharing
- Develop client facing skills to support their progression into more strategic roles

SEO Fundamentals
A solid understanding of Organic Search fundamentals, including:
- Technical
- Basic technical auditing
- Crawling and indexation concepts
- Internal linking optimisation
- XML sitemaps and robots.txt management
- Hreflang fundamentals
- Site speed fundamentals
- Keyword research and intent analysis
- Content optimisation for search intent (this includes AI search as well as "traditional" search)
- Content gap analysis
- Competitor content analysis
- Localisation and local market research for on-page relevance
- Understanding of key SERP features and opportunities
- Ability to support traffic drop investigations
- Exporting and analysing Organic performance data
- Reporting against KPIs (Organic revenue and visibility metrics)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain findings clearly to team members
- Comfortable working within structured delivery processes
- Good personal organisation and time management skills
