Maintenance Technician – Build to Rent (BTR)

💷 Salary: £30,000 – £35,000

🕒 Hours: Monday – Friday

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join a leading Build to Rent (BTR) development. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a high-quality residential community by carrying out day-to-day repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep of the building and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across apartments and communal spaces.
• Conduct minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and decorating).
• Support with fire safety, health & safety checks, and compliance procedures.
• Liaise with residents and property management teams to ensure fast resolution of maintenance issues.
• Oversee and coordinate third-party contractors when required.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and compliance reports.

About You:

• Experience in a similar maintenance role (BTR, residential, facilities, or hospitality).
• Multi-skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Great problem-solving skills with a proactive and resident-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant trade qualifications (preferred but not essential).
