Our client, a well-established building services and maintenance company based in Gloucester, are looking for a Project & Service Co-ordinator to join their growing team. This is a varied role combining small works project coordination, service desk support, and operational administration. You’ll be involved in ensuring jobs are planned, resourced, and delivered smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities of the Project and Service Coordinator:
- Coordinate small works projects (£2k–£3k), ensuring labour, materials, and scheduling are in place
- Organise and support the delivery of jobs through to completion on site
- Act as backup to the Senior Service Co-ordinator (calls, emails, engineer scheduling) when required
- Support daily service desk activity during busy periods or absence cover
- Manage onsite stock control, ensuring materials are available for upcoming works
- Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve job requirements
- Process completed works, supporting invoicing and job costing
- Maintain accurate records on internal systems
About You:
- Experience in coordination, administration, service desk, operations, or similar role
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confident communicator (phone and email)
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office essential)
- Hands‑on, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Some knowledge of stock, materials, or technical environments is beneficial
