Our client, who we have a long standing relationship with within the food production industry, based in Stonehouse, has an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their team on a full time, temporary to permanent basis.
The successful Customer Service Coordinator should have:
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales support or order processing role within a manufacturing, logistics or distribution environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience using SAP or a similar system, with good IT skills across Microsoft Office.
- Proactive problem solver with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and continuous improvement.
In this role, the Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Manage the end-to-end customer order process, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, providing regular updates and resolving enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate dispatch, shipping and export documentation for UK, EU and international deliveries.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, hauliers and customers to ensure smooth order fulfilment and delivery.
- Prepare invoices, reports and shipping documentation while maintaining accuracy and compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
Our client is offering the successful Customer Service Coordinator an hourly rate of £13.45, plus benefits including holiday allowance. At the end of the temporary assignment, you will transfer to the client with a salary of £28,000 on a permanent basis.
