The successful Industrial Door Engineer should have
- Proven experience installing Rapid Roll doors.
- Strong electrical installation, testing and fault-finding skills.
- Solid experience servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial door systems.
- The confidence to work independently and take the lead on site installations.
- A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
In this role, the Industrial Door Engineer will be responsible for
- Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial doors and loading bay equipment.
- Commissioning new industrial door systems and diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults.
- Taking ownership of site installations and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to an excellent standard.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), site surveys and audits.
- Completing accurate service reports and technical documentation.
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing professional technical advice and support.
- Identifying additional works and opportunities to support the continued growth of the business.
- Representing the company professionally while working at customer sites.
