We are currently recruiting for an experienced and organised Chilled Warehouse Supervisor to join the busy warehouse operation in Tewkesbury. This is a key hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for supporting, motivating and developing Warehouse Team Leaders and Operatives, while ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising, motivating and supporting Chilled Warehouse and Yard staff
- Ensuring safe working practices and manual handling procedures are followed
- Monitoring chilled warehouse conditions, equipment and fridge temperatures
- Supporting stock rotation, daily stock checks and accurate paperwork
- Working closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Management to resolve issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised working environment
- Supporting loading and unloading to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround times
- Ensuring product quality, stock control and hygiene standards are maintained
- Deputising for the Warehouse Manager when required
