We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk to join a busy IT team in Gloucestershire on an initial 3-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, troubleshooting technical issues, and working in a fast-paced support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to end users.
- Manage and resolve IT service requests and incidents.
- Accurately log, update, and track support tickets.
- Assist with user account administration and access management.
- Escalate complex technical issues where required.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while meeting service targets.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a previous IT Support or Service Desk role (desired).
- Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise workloads, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) would be beneficial but is not essential.
