Are you an organised, proactive professional with experience in administration and a passion for supporting IT services? We are looking for a Band 3 Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference across the organisation.
About the Role
As part of the IT Support Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT Service Desk. You will be the first point of contact for staff IT queries, providing support in person, over the phone, and via our portal and remote tools. Your work will be varied and impactful, including:
- Supporting day-to-day IT operations and tracking requests in the system
- Managing clinical inductions and ensuring staff receive the IT equipment needed for their roles
- Assisting with smartcard creation, systems access requests, and basic IT setups
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Managing IT equipment delivery, disposal, and pool car records
- Producing ad-hoc reports and supporting procurement processes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a public sector or large organisational administration environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail
- Comfortable working with IT systems and able to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment
- Full UK driving licence (for equipment deliveries across sites)
