Masker / Operator Inspector Day Shift (Maternity Cover)
Location: Cardiff
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am 4:00pm or 7:00am 5:00pm
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Masker / Operator Inspector to join a leading team in Cardiff on a day shift basis.

This position is being offered as maternity cover, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare manufactured components for the painting process

• Apply masking tape to components with precision

• Perform loading, unloading, and manual handling duties

• Inspect components using alignment gauges

• Carry out hand-filing and surface preparation as needed

• Clean parts in preparation for final inspection

What We re Looking For:

• Previous experience in preparation and polishing within a manufacturing setting

• Good knowledge of masking, sanding, priming, and polishing techniques

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work

• Reliable team player with a proactive and flexible attitude

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining standards
