Our client, a well-established and growing engineering business specialising in commercial refrigeration, cold rooms and industrial services, has an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis due to continued business growth.

The successful Refrigeration Service Engineer should have:

  • Previous experience servicing, maintaining or installing cold rooms, commercial refrigeration or HVAC systems.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, can-do attitude.
  • A willingness to develop new skills, with full training available on refrigerated display cabinets and industrial doors.

In this role, the Refrigeration Service Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on commercial refrigeration and cold room equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults at customer sites.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdown call-outs.
  • Conducting site surveys and ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Building strong relationships with customers while accurately completing service reports and job documentation.
