This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a busy finance function, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with VAT processes, and ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
- Processing invoices, payments and expenses
- Supporting month-end and year-end finance activities
- Producing reports and spreadsheets using Excel
- Ensuring financial information is accurate and up to date
- Working closely with colleagues across the business
About You:
- AAT qualified (or equivalent)
- Previous finance/accounts experience
- Strong understanding of VAT and experience of VAT return submissions
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines
- Competent IT user with good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Positive, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
