Our client, a well‑established company within the industrial door and loading bay industry based in the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire area, has an exciting new opportunity for an Industrial Door Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis due to continued business growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience installing Rapid Roll doors.
- Strong electrical installation and fault‑finding skills.
- Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial door systems.
- Ability to work independently and lead site installations.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial doors and loading bay equipment.
- Commissioning industrial door systems and diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Leading site installations and ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), site surveys, audits, and service documentation.
- Identifying additional work opportunities while providing excellent customer service and technical support.
Compensation & Benefits
Our client is offering the successful Industrial Door Engineer a salary in the region of £17.00‑£18.00+ per hour based on 40 hours a week, depending on experience, plus benefits including a company vehicle, ongoing training and development, company tools, and holiday entitlement.
Overtime is also available and paid at a higher rate.
