About the Role
Join our Gloucester Operations team as a Production Operator and play a key role in the safe operation and optimisation of plant equipment used in manufacturing Nylon 6,6 fibre for industrial fibre markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing business that has ambitious goals and a strong focus on continuous improvement. Our manufacturing facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year. This is a shift-based position working 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off).
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain plant and equipment to meet production targets with the required quality and efficiency.
- Accurately record operating conditions and continuously optimise plant performance.
- Complete routine cleaning and checks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions, including updating documentation.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and operational standards.
