We are seeking to appoint a passionate & highly motivated Commis Chef to support our valued Client, an independent Pub with rooms, currently operating at one Rosette. This would suit a Commis Chef working at this level in a similar property, or the Client would be happy to consider a Catering College leaver who is looking for a role with the opportunity to progress & learn.
Based in the Stroud area, working alongside a small team of experienced, passionate Chefs, the key focus of the Commis Chef role will be supporting the Head Chef & the other members of the intimate kitchen brigade. You will be producing comforting, well-cooked British/ French dishes using fresh, local, seasonal ingredients.
You will have the opportunity to work with good produce and most importantly in a friendly environment with excellent facilities and a fabulous, supportive owner, while contributing to menu development and presentation.
As Commis Chef, you will work across different sections of the kitchen, supporting the smooth running of service, while preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.
The ideal Commis Chef will:
