An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Health & Safety Leader to join a prestigious, internationally recognised professional services firm. Sitting within the Internal Client Services Team, this is a high-profile, strategic role responsible for shaping, leading, and embedding a world-class Health & Safety culture across UK and international offices.
This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the firm operates safely, compliantly, and responsibly, while supporting commercial objectives and enabling teams to perform at their very best. You will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, Office Managers, HR, Responsible Business and Facilities leaders to influence best practice, drive continuous improvement, and deliver robust Health & Safety standards globally.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage and develop the Health & Safety function, providing expert coaching and guidance
- Develop, implement and oversee strategic H&S systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and firmwide policy
- Provide professional, commercial H&S advice to senior leadership and operational teams
- Drive consistency of H&S practices across UK and international offices
- Undertake internal audits, ensuring processes and documentation are effective and compliant
- Prepare monthly and annual H&S reports for senior leadership
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external authorities as required
- Lead on ISO frameworks including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 development
- Champion firmwide H&S registers including COSHH, incident reporting and RIDDOR
- Act as Lead Incident Control Officer, Lead Fire Warden and First Aider
- Support accessibility, reasonable adjustments, maternity assessments and employee wellbeing initiatives
- Oversee and manage the Health & Safety budget
- Lead and enhance H&S training programmes across the business, including UK and International offices
We are seeking a confident, commercially minded Health & Safety professional who can operate credibly at senior level, influence effectively and balance operational risk with business priorities.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience managing Health & Safety across multi-site environments (international exposure desirable)
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience implementing ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to mentor and develop others
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Exceptional organisational ability and attention to detail
- A proactive, credible and solutions-focused mindset
