Qualifications

  • Previous experience servicing, maintaining or installing cold rooms, commercial refrigeration or HVAC systems.
  • Good electrical fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, can‑do attitude.
  • A willingness to develop new skills, with full training available on refrigerated display cabinets and industrial doors.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on commercial refrigeration and cold room equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults at customer sites.
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdown call‑outs.
  • Conducting site surveys and ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Building strong relationships with customers while accurately completing service reports and job documentation.
