The Role
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving nationwide retail installations, shopfitting, and POS display work across a variety of customer sites. You will work independently, within 2-man teams, or alongside larger installation crews to deliver high-quality installations to exact client specifications. The role involves regular travel, working away from home, and occasional night and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install POS and retail display systems to client specifications
- Load and unload installation materials safely and accurately
- Carry out site surveys where required
- Complete photographic installation reports and site updates
- Work closely with Field Operations and installation teams
- Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained professionally
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company work instructions
- Attend mandatory training and project briefings
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Clean UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- Experience driving long wheelbase commercial vans
- CSCS Green Labourer Card minimum (Blue Skilled Worker preferred)
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety on professional working sites
- Excellent attention to detail and professional standards
- Good communication and English literacy skills
- Willingness to work away from home, nights, weekends, and overseas
- Current passport
- Own tools suitable for professional installation work
Desirable:
- IPAF Licence
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification
- Trade background such as woodworking or metalworking
