The successful Refrigeration Service Engineer should have
- Previous experience servicing, maintaining or installing cold rooms, commercial refrigeration or HVAC systems.
- Good electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional, can-do attitude.
- A willingness to develop new skills, with full training available on refrigerated display cabinets and industrial doors.
- In this role, the Refrigeration Service Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on commercial refrigeration and cold room equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults at customer sites.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdown call-outs.
- Conducting site surveys and ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Building strong relationships with customers while accurately completing service reports and job documentation.
