Our client, a well-established firm within Manufacturing, based in Stroud, has a new opportunity for a Press Brake Setter to join their team on a temporary basis for an immediate start.
The successful Press Brake Setter should have:
- Experience working as a Press Brake Setter.
- Experience using Promecam Manual Press machines.
- Good attention to detail, reading plans and able to work within tight tolerances.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety within the workplace.
In this role, the Press Brake Setter will be responsible for:
- Reading and interpreting drawings and plans.
- Setting the machines in accordance with plans.
- Manually calculate or set bend positions and depths.
- Carry out first-off inspections.
- Produce accurate work without relying on CNC programming, maintaining quality standards and completing production records.
- Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
