We're recruiting on behalf of a successful, well-established retail business in Cheltenham that prides itself on outstanding customer service, quality products and a friendly, supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader looking to take the next step or continue their retail management career. This is a 12 Month FTC with an immediate start available.
What you'll be doing as an Assistant Showroom Manager:
- Supporting the Showroom Manager and leading the showroom in their absence
- Driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service
- Coaching, motivating and supporting a team of 5-6 colleagues
- Managing customer orders, appointments, deliveries and payments
- Helping with rotas, training and team performance
- Maintaining excellent showroom presentation and stock control
What we're looking for in the Assistant Showroom Manager:
- Retail management, assistant management or supervisory experience
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- A proactive, sales-focused approach
- Experience leading, motivating or coaching a retail team
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence working in a busy customer-facing environment
