Our client, a well-established firm within the Builders Merchant industry, based in Bourton-on-the-Water, has an exciting new opportunity for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis due to increased demand.

The successful HGV Class 2 Driver should have:

  • CAT C Class 2 HGV Licence
  • CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Driving Licence Category C with no more than 6 points
  • Counterbalance forklift licence (desirable)
  • A positive attitude and strong motivation to succeed
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team while remaining reliable and trustworthy

In this role, the HGV Class 2 Driver will be responsible for:

  • Completing local multi-drop deliveries across the region
  • Safely operating Class 2 vehicles to deliver building materials
  • Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and accurately
  • Adhering to all transport, tachograph and health & safety regulations

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking to join Gloucestershire's leading independent Builder's Merchant. While a HIAB licence is preferred, the company is willing to fund the qualification for the right HGV Class 2 Driver, providing genuine career development and progression opportunities.

Our client is offering the successful HGV Class 2 Driver a salary in the region of £33,000 per annum plus benefits including a company pension from day one, Death in Service insurance (3x salary), 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, Christmas shut down between Christmas Eve and 2nd January, company social events, fully funded Christmas party, all PPE supplied, discretionary sick pay and free on site parking.
