Our client, a well-established organisation within the Sports and Leisure industry, based in Gloucester, has an exciting new opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Worker to join their team on a full-time, temp to permanent basis.
The successful Grounds Maintenance Worker should have:
- A full clean driving licence
- Level 2 certificate in effective maintenance of 3G pitches is advantageous, but training will be provided.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with a positive attitude and team mentality.
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
In this role, the Grounds Maintenance Worker will be responsible for:
- Maintain and monitor the 3G pitch to industry standards, carrying out scheduled maintenance and daily inspections.
- Liaise with coaches and specialist contractors to ensure the pitch is prepared for training and match days.
- Inspect, maintain and manage equipment, ensuring it is safe, operational and available when needed.
- Support the wider maintenance team with site upkeep, opening the stadium each day, and responding to on-site issues and emergencies.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues and visitors.
