We are an established and growing multi-trades construction company. Our work covers a variety of sites over the two subsections of our company, Re-letting and Re-build. We value dependability, strong work ethics, and are looking for a plumber/gas engineer willing to join our team and deliver a high-quality product for our customers.
Role
We are looking for a site joiner to join our Re-build team. You will be working with our joinery team across several large-scale residential projects, at varying levels of completion. We are looking for a joiner with competency at all joinery tasks from rouging to finishings. We work to high standards and strive to meet the needs of the customer and the brief, whilst working closely with the other trades at our company making the project run as smoothly as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out on-site joinery work including installation of doors, windows, staircases, skirting, architraves, and fitted furniture.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
- Install kitchens, wardrobes, and bespoke joinery where required.
- Ensure all work complies with building regulations, health & safety standards, and company quality requirements.
- Use up to date hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Liaise with site managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Work as a team and identify and resolve on-site issues or defects efficiently.
- Work with laborers to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Carry out snagging and remedial work as required.
Certifications, skills and experience
- Notable experience as a joiner, with a portfolio of work preferable.
- Full UK driving license (preferable).
- Good joinery and carpentry skills.
- Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks.
- Knowledge and understanding of tools and materials.
- Punctuality and organizational skills.
