Role Overview
We are looking for an organised, reliable and enthusiastic Office Junior to support our busy administration team.
This is an entry-level position suited to someone who is keen to develop their office and administration skills within a professional working environment.
The successful candidate will assist with general office duties, answer incoming telephone calls, complete data entry and help the administration team manage their day-to-day workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming telephone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Taking accurate messages and directing calls to the appropriate person
- Supporting administrators with general tasks and workload
- Entering and updating information accurately on company systems and spreadsheets
- Creating, organising and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems
- Scanning, photocopying, printing and filing documents
- Organising folders and ensuring records are clearly labelled and easy to locate
- Assisting with emails, letters and other basic correspondence
- Monitoring and distributing incoming post and deliveries
- Maintaining general office supplies and reporting when items need to be ordered
- Helping to keep the office organised and presentable
- Completing any other reasonable administrative duties as required
Skills and Experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised and able to manage several tasks
- Willingness to learn and support other members of the team
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling company information
Previous office experience is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
