We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems across various sites. This role requires a strong technical background, practical experience with mechanical and plumbing systems, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair commercial gas appliances and systems in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal operation of gas equipment.
- Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to carry out tasks.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to gas systems, including pipe fitting and assembly.
- Carry out basic carpentry work as needed for installation or maintenance purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Assist in the assembly of new equipment or system components on-site.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies.
Skills
- Proven experience with welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly work.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to gas systems and associated machinery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required.

- Valid commercial driving licence is desirable for site travel or transporting equipment.
