Our client is a fast-growing digital marketing agency working with ambitious SMEs to help them scale online. They pride themselves on integrity, smart selling, and building long-term client partnerships.
As part of continued growth, they are now hiring a Business Development Manager to take ownership of client relationships, lead sales conversations, and close high-value retainers. This role is ideal for a commercially minded salesperson who enjoys problem-solving, autonomy, and meaningful client engagement.
About the RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you’ll attend and lead sales meetings, deliver tailored presentations, and close new business. You’ll work closely with subject-matter experts rather than running audits yourself, positioning the right solutions for each client’s goals.
The role is split roughly 50% lead generation and 50% closing, with strong incentives for self-sourced business. You’ll also support and mentor Business Development Executives, helping guide them through pipeline development and professional sales practices.
Key responsibilities include:- Attending meetings and pitching digital marketing solutions
- Building and managing senior-level client relationships
- Closing monthly retainers and hitting revenue targets
- Supporting and mentoring BDEs
- Managing pipeline and forecasts in ZOHO CRM
- Collaborating with delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding
You’re a consultative, professional salesperson, comfortable engaging MDs, CEOs, and senior marketers and enjoy translating business challenges into clear digital strategies.
You’re commercially aware, motivated by performance, and confident working with autonomy. You enjoy being active in the market and are excited by seeing your work directly impact business growth.
